Kendrick Lamar is having an excellent year. His album To Pimp A Butterfly has been named as the top album of 2015 by Rolling Stone, he leads the pack with 11 Grammy Nominations, AND now he’s responsible for the President’s favorite song of 2015.
In a new interview with People magazine, the President and the First Lady share their favorite songs of this past year.
Michelle says her top song is Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk” while the big man says he loves Kendrick’s “How Much Does a Dollar Cost.”

The movie Barack most enjoyed this year was The Martian, starring Matt Damon, while Michelle was smitten with the Amy Poehler-led animated movie Inside Out.While Barack says his favorite show is the Cinemax drama series The Knick, we know the president is also a fan of Michelle’s top TV pick: Black-ish. In fact,Anthony Anderson, one of the stars of the hit ABC sitcom, has said he’s petitioned the First Couple to make a guest appearance on the show.
