A huge sigh of relief as fresh reports reveal that the Nigerian Military has finally arrived at a ceasefire agreement with terrorist group Boko Haram on the release of the abducted 219 Chibok girls. For almost six months now these girls have been under captivity anad God only knows the trauma they have been forced to undergo.
At the ceasefire meeting, Boko Haram was reportedly represented by Danladi Ahmadu. Boko Haram disclosed that their aim was to fight for the establishment of an Islamic state in Muslim-dominated northern Nigeria.
The group has launched scores of attacks in the past five years, targeting markets, bus stations, government facilities, churches and even mosques. Militants recently took over some town in the North eastern parts of the country for what the group's leader said would be an Islamic caliphate.
