Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fiercest of them all? Duh, Queen Bey. Beyoncé brought back her famous alter ego for a new edition of Carine Roitfeld‘s CR Fashion Book. After teasing with a sample cover of the songstress wearing a black sequined, pink puff ball mask, it was unveiled that she is the cover star.
For the cover, Bey rocks a Yohji Yamamoto cape and sleek black heels, while focusing her fierce gaze into the cameras. Inside the issue, she goes ultra feminine with a corset, a Chanel surfboard and more haute couture pieces.

“The empress of pop meets a force of fashion. In her first collaboration with Carine Roitfeld, the ever-changing Beyoncé expresses her many moods, manners, auras, and multifaceted characters. All hail,” the website posted.
The spread features short notes comprised of words from Beyoncé that have been remixed by Forrest Gander, expressing who Beyoncé’s muse is as well as her love for young children.
“It’s my daughter, she’s my biggest muse. There’s someone, we all find out soon, more important than ourselves to lose,” expressed Bey. “I feel a deep bond with young children – all those photos in my dressing room – especially those who’ve been sticker, children I’ve met across the years – they uplift me like pieces of moon, and guide me, whispering in my ear.”
She also expressed the boost of energy she gets by tapping into her “Sasha Fierce” persona both on and off the stage.
