The pressure is pilling as more public figures and celebrities worldwide including Naomi Campbell, Michelle Obama, Drake, Chris Brown and others have showed their support for Nigeria’s #BringBackOurGirls campaign for the missing Borno school girls.
And now, music superstar, Alicia Keys, has also joined the campaign. She posted the above photo on her Instagram page, along with this statement:
“I’m so saddened and enraged that these girls are not back where they belong! Safe at home and at school! Safe with their families! Safe to become the incredible leaders and powerful voices they are yet to be. I’ve already signed the petitions…have you? #bringbackourgirls.”
Justin Timberlake, John Legend, Ludacris and Jamie Foxx are just few of the many who have lent their support to call for the release of the abducted Chibok girls.
