Family ties: Beyoncé and Jay-Z left the luxury yacht they had been holidaying on as they headed to the airport with Blue Ivy, yesterday, in the South of France
The singer kept her eyes covered in a pair of retro-style sunglasses and pulled her hair back to reveal her bright red lipstick and big gold earrings. Rapper Jay-Z, 42, also wore a pair of his trademark shades as he teamed a black Givenchy T-shirt with a pair of army camouflage trousers. The Run This Town star also flaunted his very hard to find Nike Air Yezzy II trainers, which were designed by his good friend Kanye West.

As the couple reached the mainland Beyoncé continued to play the doting mother as she carried her special little girl up to their waiting cars. The singer, who wore a pair of loose fit trousers, moved gracefully across the stone floor even though her manicured feet were bare and shoeless. She covered Blue Ivy with a white blanket as the group prepared to head to Nice Airport for their outbound flight, and Jay-Z followed behind casually.

The Brooklyn-born rap star kept his hands in his pockets as he left the heavy lifting duties to some of his trusty crew. A number of workers were seen carrying the family's belongings and luggage and one man was given the important task of moving Blue Ivy's toys. Beyoncé celebrated her 31st birthday on the break and also found space to spend some alone time with her husband when they went out for a intimate dinner at the Michelangelo Restaurant in Antibes.

Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, recently spoke of the values the couple are hoping to instill in little Blue. The uber-successful star, who grew up in the Brooklyn projects, spoke to the the New York Times Style magazine about his hopes for his daughter. He said: 'She doesn't have to be tough. She has to love herself, she has to know who she is, she has to be respectful, and be a moral person.'
