Zenani Mandela-Dlamini, Nelson Mandela‘s first daughter for ex wife Winnie has been appointed as South Africa’s ambassador to Argentina. The South American nation reacted by saying her appointment represented the importance South Africa attaches to the relationship between both countries. The 53 year old Ms Mandela-Dlamini is a graduate of the University of Boston and was once married to a Swazi prince. According to reports, Zezani was a kid when her dad,the first black president of South Africa was imprisoned.
She was not allowed to visit his prison cell till she turned 14. Nobel laureate prize holder, Nelson Mandela will turn 94 this month and has now retired from public life due to old age and ailing health.
